Gruene Homestead Inn is a distinctive bed and breakfast style lodging facility located in New Braunfels, Texas, just outside of the Gruene Historic Disrict.  It is a collection of historic farm houses presented as a  country inn located on eight acres of an original German homestead.  Innkeepers Ed and Billie Miles have maintained the estate's historical integrity by relocating and restoring old homes from the area.  Guests experience the essence of a bygone era while lodging in one of the 22 individually designed and decorated rooms and suites.

The Inn is within minutes of historic Gruene and New Braunfels, the Guadalupe and Comal rivers, and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.  The location is convenient for visitors interested in golfing, rafting, tubing, fishing, dancing, shopping at the outlet malls, touring the Texas hill country, or just relaxing in a rocking chair on one of the spacious porches.

Amenities include private baths with a choice of Jacuzzi tubs, antique soaking tubs, or stand up showers, King or Queen size beds, cable television, private porches, free wireless and broadband internet access and a full breakfast.  Guests are invited to enjoy the swimming pool, hot tub, and beautiful grounds landscaped with native plants.

The inn can provide family accommodations in cottages and guest houses that sleep up to 5 people.  Corporate Groups enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the Texas Victorian style meeting room.  

Tavern in the Gruene, housed in a renovated pole barn on the same eight acre site as the Inn, is an air conditioned live music venue with a full bar, pool table, shuffleboard table, garden patio, and horseshoe pit.  The Tavern features local and regional original music acts in the Americana, Country, Rockabilly and Blues genres... a cool spot for good times!
