Fiddler’s Gruene is naturally authentic. When we planned our Venue, we did not mess with perfection, we kept the integrity of the original 1850’s pole barn and added some country chic accents. We have exposed the original high-ceiling beams and added warm lighting. We offer a custom indoor/outdoor bar and modern amenities, creating a beautifully natural, serene backdrop which can be customized to reflect your personality and style. Imagine hosting your event in a unique building with natural light and dancing the night away.

Although the weather in Texas can be unpredictable. Fiddler’s Gruene provides both indoor and outdoor accommodations which ensures your guests stay comfortable. We are equal parts rustic and warmth, which is exactly what you want for the best event you have ever planned. We put all our professional experience and love into planning your special celebration and we are always available to answer any questions you may have.

This unique venue has something for everyone. The historic buildings and rustic charm created the perfect ambiance for our reception. The convenience of indoor and outdoor space allowed plenty of room for our guests to mingle, have a quiet conversation, dance, play yard games and sit at the swing up bar. We chose a pasta bar and salad for our meal and it was delicious (who doesn't love pasta?). The restrooms are clean and spacious; something that was very important to me. Ally with Fiddler's was a delight to work with; she was very helpful and responsive to my questions and requests, helping to make our special day exactly what we wanted. Having the Homestead Inn right next door was the cherry on top. No driving anywhere after the reception, we walked to our cozy cabin for the night and enjoyed a hot breakfast the next morning with our guests. We highly recommend this venue and will be returning to The Homestead Inn on our first anniversary.

We sit on 8 acres of an original German homestead located less than one mile from the Gruene Historic District.

You bet! We are proud to offer our onsite boutique hotel, Gruene Homestead Inn. Our award-winning inn is a collection of historic farmhouses offering 17 individually designed and decorated rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy a hot Texas-style breakfast each morning along with our resort-style pool with a swim-up bar, hot tub, sun shelf, cabanas, and activity fields.

We can accommodate up to 250 guests between our indoor and outdoor space.

We have an ample amount of parking located along the front of our property.

Yes, we are dog friendly as long as your furry friends are not aggressive, have up-to-date vaccinations, and have a dedicated handler at all times.

Yes, we do. You can purchase special event insurance through your insurance company or other online options.

Fiddler’s Gruene does require one security officer for every 100 guests. While the couple is responsible for payment, we will handle the coordination and hiring of the required number of security guards based on guest count. Their hourly rate is $55/hour per officer.

Fiddler’s Gruene loves to give each couple exclusive access to the venue on their wedding day so setting up or storing items at the venue the day prior is not allowed.

We have a catalog of our decor inventory for you to browse and choose from.

Fiddler’s Gruene strictly prohibits the use of artificial confetti, glitter, rice, silly string, fake snow, or loose faux flower petals. A $500 damage deposit will be enforced if any of these items are used on our property.

Fiddler’s Gruene and Gruene Homestead Inn is located on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped property. While you will have exclusive access to Fiddler’s Gruene the day of your wedding, there may be limitations on where you can take photos at Gruene Homestead Inn due to guests staying in the rooms. We are happy to show you the best places to take photos around our property!

We do allow couples accompanied by a professional photographer to take photos on our property for $100/hour. To ensure you have exclusive access, please call 830-606-0216 to reserve your date/time.
