The Cottage is what used to be the carriage house for the Faust House. This unit is very popular because it is charmingly roomy with plenty of privacy. Offering a king size bed, sitting area, stand up tiled shower, double sinks and a jacuzzi tub. Mini-fridge & microwave and large private entry patio with rocking chairs is the perfect spot for your morning coffee.

The Judge’s Chambers is one of our most popular suites and offers two separate rooms. The master room offers one king size bed and the welcoming entry room offers two twin size beds. A large bathroom with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and a beautiful natural skylight add to the relaxing atmosphere of this room. There is a mini-fridge & microwave along with a coffee bar.

This unique room was originally the “dog run” of the Farmhouse. It is a medium size, two room suite that offers a sitting area with a small dinette table with a mini-fridge and microwave. The separate roomy bedroom offers a king size bed. The bathroom has a large double sink, jacuzzi tub and a skylight .

A truly unique lodging experience. This unit is one of our most unique suites with a genuine root cellar discovered many years ago while doing construction. The ground floor offers a master bedroom with a king size bed and a twin size bed around the walkway. There are stone steps that lead down to the cellar which offers a television and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses.

True to its name, The Hideaway is a large, comfortable room that offers a secluded location. This room offers a king size bed along with a twin trundle. Large natural light bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The room offers a coffee bar with mini-fridge. The outdoor private patio with cozy picnic table area adds to the charm of privacy.

The Ranch House is a stand alone charming one bedroom, one bathroom house that is fully equipped with all you need in order to have a relaxing stay. Recently renovated.
The multiple catering options, full bar service, 2 stages, yard games, indoor/outdoor seating and much more make this a fantastic option for your special event. We are able to accommodate up to 250 guests and can be easily customized to fit your needs.

This is the only guest room attached to the Faust House so once the office is closed, it becomes a quiet and private little haven. This room offers a king size bed, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee bar. The room features a stand up shower and private patio complete with rocking chairs. Entertainment includes ROKU streaming television & Fiber Internet availability. This room is NOT pet friendly.
Team Office Associate
Stephanie, like many others, moved to Texas from her native state of Indiana. She relocated here to be closer to her children and grandchildren. While in Indiana, she enjoyed a long career working for the state as a social worker adding to her long 40-year service industry experience. The original owners hand-picked Stephanie from their favorite local establishment to come work for them, as her service is unmeasurable. Stephanie is quick witted, enjoys a good book and spending time with her family and friends.
Head of Guest Support Services
Heidi joined the property in April of 2019 and quickly became a guest favorite. She has received numerous care packages from guests that met her while staying with us. Heidi has become friends with the deer, birds, and family of foxes that visit our property daily. Heidi enjoys napping, sunbathing, and greeting guests on their way into breakfast every morning.
Event Venue Manager
Cheyenne earned her MBA in Communications from the University of Incarnate Word in 2017. She joined the team in 2023 following 7 years as a collegiate student-athlete and 5 years of experience in construction equipment sales. Cheyenne enjoys game night with friends, weekend adventures, and spending time with her senior pup, Cooper.
Business Operations Assistant
Kylie moved to New Braunfels seven years ago and graduated from Canyon High School. She began her time with Gruene Homestead Inn in the summer of 2022. Kylie is currently a student at Texas State University studying business management. Outside of work, Kylie enjoys spending time with her family and playing sand volleyball.
Business Operations Specialist
Micah is a former student-athlete that graduated from Trinity University in 2018. She has worked for the owners since 2019 filling a variety of roles and currently leads the overall property renovation efforts. Micah enjoys a good cup of coffee, live music, and time spent with family and friends.
Team Office Associate
Donna Wenzel-Guenther is a lifetime resident of New Braunfels. Beginning her tenor with Gruene Homestead Inn over 24 years ago and counting, Donna shares her wealth of knowledge of New Braunfels and Gruene Homestead Inn to all she meets. Known for her friendly disposition and gift of conversation, Donna is a guest favorite and stays busy caring for her family and pets.
Service Technician
Edgar has been with Gruene Homestead Inn from the very beginning. As the son of the original owners, Ed and Billie Miles, Edgar has worn every hat imaginable. Edgar is a veteran of the US Army and his wealth of knowledge for the property and attention to detail continue to make Gruene Homestead Inn the best of the best. Edgar is an avid cyclist and enjoys playing the guitar. If you have a question about this property, he is your man!
General Manager
Shannon comes to Gruene Homestead Inn with 37 years of combined property management, customer service, and hospitality experience. Shannon became employed with the current owner in 2017 and was moved to Gruene Homestead Inn at the time of purchase in April of 2019. Shannon enjoys gardening, canning homegrown fruits and vegetables, and tending to her many pets.
