We are very excited to announce
that after many years of disallowing weddings on our property, we have
decided to once again permit them albeit with certain restrictions that
protect the privacy of our B&B guests and the standards of quality at
our inn. There are so many beautiful spots on the grounds around
our guest units and we encourage you to choose one for the location of
your special day.
Please call for details and
suggestions for brainstorming ideas, but our basic wedding guidelines
are as follows:
1. Weddings of more than 25
attendees must be planned with the assistance of a professional wedding
coordinator. The coordinator will work with us to verify that all GHI
wedding guidelines are met. GHI does not provide wedding planning
2. Weddings of more than 25 attendees are subject to minimum room
booking requirements. The location of rooms booked dictates the location
of the wedding. Reservations will be subject to minimum night stay
requirements. Weddings with fifty (50) or more attendees require that
the entire property be booked.
3. Basic facility use fee starts at $15.00 per attendee. Example: 50
attendees equates to a facility use fee of $750.00. Longer and/or
larger/more complex events may be subject to a higher rate.
4. All alcohol for wedding guest use must be provided by either Gruene
Homestead Inn or Tavern in the Gruene. If the reception is on the
grounds of Gruene Homestead Inn then all beer and wine must be
pre-purchased through the Inn and hard liquor shall not be made
available to wedding guests. If the reception is to be held at the
Tavern, prior arrangements must be made with the Tavern management and
all alcohol purchased there must remain on the Tavern premises.
