The Cabin is a single unit building on the property and the original structure dates back to the 1940's.  The bedroom was a grain barn and the sky lit bathroom was a feeding trough.  Tucked behind the Farmhouse, and close to the Tavern entrance, this unit is perfect for dancing it up at night and then just walking back to your room.  The Cabin has it's own fenced in courtyard area, a private porch, and a wonderful handmade rock wall that is decorated with an Ivy theme.  Pair this room up with the Back Room when booking for two couples as the two private porches are connected by a short path through a small garden.

NOTE:  This unit is located close to the parking lot and entrance of Tavern in the Gruene.  It has a privacy fence that separates it from the public but it is still in a high traffic area of our property.  If you are looking for a more private and quiet stay, take a look at rooms in the Rose Cottage, the Country House, the Ranch House, and the Millwood House.  Music at Tavern in the Gruene goes from 8pm-12am Sun-Fri and 9pm-1am on Saturday.
